Our story
Every design is a real print from the 1820s and 1830s: hand-colored engravings made by Robert Havell after John James Audubon's paintings for The Birds of America. The National Gallery of Art shares them in the public domain. We crop them for a mug and leave the old paper tone and hand coloring as they are.
Nothing is made ahead of time. Each mug is printed in the USA after you order it.
Shipping times, Alaska delivery, cancellations and broken mugs are covered in the FAQ. Still have a question? We reply within 1–2 business days.
